Amy Wurtz String Quartets was recorded by the Chicago Q Ensemble at ESS Studios in 2011.  This album contains String Quartets 1 and 2 performed by Ellen McSweeney and Kate Carter, Violin, Aimee Biasiello, Viola, and Sara Sitzer, 'Cello. Alternatingly fast-paced and lyrical, this album showcases Wurtz's expansive style, pulsating rhythms, and emphatically energetic writing.
