Free Concert on September 12, 2025, 12 noon

On Friday, September 12, 2025, at 12:10 pm, I have the honor of presenting a program dedicated to our planet and all it suffers. The centerpiece of the program is Brian Field's "Three Passions for our Tortured Planet", which he wrote as an open-source piece, available at no cost to pianists around the world, which he wrote to bring attention to climate change and raise awareness around this alarming state of the Earth.
Balancing this multi-movement work, I'll also present pieces written for extinct species, extinct humans, a celebration of nature, a lament for nature lost, ending with an exhortation for those of use alive right now to do all we can to protect our planet.
This concert is free and open to all. It will also be livestreamed and can be viewed via the Fourth Presbyterian Church YouTube channel. The livestream will also be available to watch after the concert.
