It's that time of year again! The 17th annual Sound of Silent Film will be taking place on Saturday, April 16, at 7:15 pm. This year we will be at the Music Box Theater, on their historic stage, playing live music to 10 short films. All music is freshly composed (and by fresh, I mean fresh. . .I finished writing my score for The Trader on April 3!!).
The show is live and in person on April 16, but if you can't make it, you can also catch it online on Saturday, April 23 at 8 pm. All the information, including tickets, is below. Hope to see you there!
FESTIVAL APR 16 & 23, 2022 Sound Of Silent Film Festival ACM’s popular Sound of Silent Film Festival, now in its 17th year, is a unique event featuring new short silent films in every conceivable genre screened with newly-composed musical scores performed live. On April 16th, we will present a new program of modern silent films live at the Music Box Theater, and virtually the following week. The virtual presentation will also be available on demand from that point forward.
